West Lake Restaurant

Service isn't that great except for the lady named Lang but if you want to have decent yumcha, you won't be disappointed here. Just come in time for lunch and you'll have a wonderful yumcha experience. Great variety, cooked fresh, price is reasonable. Our favourite yumcha place in Melbourne. We recommend it to everyone.

Dragon Boat Restaurant

We went there during lunch time for yumcha and we were both so hungry so it's disappointing to see everything not looking appetizing. Most of the dumplings are dry and looks like it's been sitting out for a long time. And the service is terrible.

Hopefully it's a one time off or maybe they're having a bad day but we don't think we're ever going back there again.

Italy 1

High expectations falling down...

The first visit we had 3 years ago was wonderful and unforgettable so we decided to have dinner there on our 5th year anniversary and we were very disappointed. The ambiance has changed. Before, it was darker, more intimate but now, it's brighter, more like a bistro or cafe. And the food... what happened? We didn't enjoy it. It was good but we were expecting more, that's why. It's like they lost their sense of intimacy in their ambiance and food.

THE VERDICT:
Maybe it was just a bad day or the head chef had the day off so would give it a second chance. Hopefully we won't be disappointed again.

Eleonore's Restaurant

A momentous fine dining experience.

Paradise Of Lindos

Two nights ago, we were both too tired from work so instead of cooking at home, we decided to eat out. We drove along Niddrie for a few minutes 'cause we couldn't decide where to go. And then we found this greek restaurant called Paradise Of Lindos...

Ambiance: Homey

We Ordered:
Entree: 1 dozen fresh oysters, fetta cheese and olives
Main: Lindos Meat Platter for two, bowl of chips
Dessert: Baklava with Ice Cream
Drink: Coke 0 for Tami and house red for Harold

The ambience was very homey. Wine choices is very limited but the food is good especially the meat platter which Harold enjoyed very much. Service is a 7 out of 10 except for that long-haired gentleman who we think is the owner of the place that attended to us while all the waitresses were busy. Dessert is a classic so you could never go wrong with it. Would definitely go back again for the food.
